How does Nestward build a trip?

Pick a national park (or type a city you're starting from) and Nestward drafts a day-by-day itinerary: the top stops, in a sensible driving order, with drive times and arrival times worked out. You can add, remove, and reorder anything.

Is it really free?

Yes. Nestward is free with no subscription. If you book lodging through a "Find a place to stay" link, we may earn a small affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you. That's how the app stays free.

Do my trips sync between my devices?

Yes. Trips sync across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud account. You don't need an account or password; it uses the iCloud you're already signed into.

Why does it ask for my location?

Location powers next-stop ETAs and automatically checks off stops as you arrive during a trip. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can use the app without granting it. You'll just lose auto check-in.

Where does the park information come from?

Park and point-of-interest data comes from the U.S. National Park Service. Maps and directions are powered by Apple Maps, weather by Apple Weather, and some photos by Wikipedia.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app, and remove its iCloud data under Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. See our Privacy Policy for details.
